Infusion is a ministry geared towards students in grades 9-12 from the central Iowa area. Connection is a big emphasis at Infusion. First of all, we want everyone to have strong connection with God! This is the first and most important relationship anyone can have in life. The bible teaches us in Matthew 22:37 to “love God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind”. To connect with God you must give Him everything (heart, soul, mind). Second we want everyone to connect with others. Community is so important, especially while in high school. We want students to connect with other students to hopefully develop life long friendships.
Infusion is led by Pastor Brian Smith and his wife Jamie. They have 3 children they adore and love. Brian grew up in central Iowa and attended the Rockford Masters Commission in Rockford, IL for 3 years. Jamie grew up in northwest Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with an Elementary Education degree. He served as youth pastor in northwest Iowa and in the process met Jamie. After 4 years as youth pastor, they moved back to Urbandale to serve the youth at New Hope. Brian and Jamie have a passion for students and want to see them live life to the fullest with God in the drivers seat!
